2nd SSD power supply management
« on: December 02, 2013, 02:22:15 PM »
I am throwing in a second SSD into the rig for BF4.  The plan is to run the drives off the same power line to the PSU.  There are five 80 mm case fans on the line already.  Is this safe to run as long as the fans are at the end of the power line?
My rig runs solitaire on ultra high resolution!

I think SSds use very very little juice!

Dunno what is going on internally on your PSU but its likely they are feeding off the same rail anyhoo.

Yeah that... unless you have a multi-rail PSU which isn't likely.  You should be good to go either way though!

I run a multi rail PSU. I am unlikely : /

I like to spread my juice out : )

What kind of Fudgeing computer errors are you getting?
