If Chuck Norris is on your team, there is NO TIE!! He always wins.

So what you are basically saying, is the tourney is like the NFL, with 20 rounds, and if after those 20 rounds the score is tied 20-20, you just play out another round, winner take all event.

That would be a possible score of 10-10.  That would need the tie breaker.

What about the BCS? Do you get strength of victory points? Does your in conference schedule matter? And if you win the coin toss you choose CT or T? Boise State should deserve a shot. Instead, can we just play dizzy bat for the last round?

I suggest that in the event of a tie both teams must play Russian roulette and the team with the most surviving players is declared the victor.

Handling the CS:S Tourney this year, I'll explain why we have decided to go with the following rule sets for this tourney. First and foremost the rounds. As BrokenShadow has already stated, we are trying to host as many tournaments as possible given the allocated time frame to do so. I understand the question to diverse from traditional rule sets of 30 rounds switch after 15 rounds of match play, however with the anticipated number of entries we will be having for this, we could not fit it into the time given. The tournament will be ran as followed

Zblock 4.4 Add On with a possible TOTAL of 21 rounds played

10 rounds will be played from start
Teams will switch sides after 10 rounds and have a ready up to begin on opposite teams (CT go T and vice versa)
Another 10 rounds will be played with switched teams

In the result of a tie at 20, a 1 round playoff will be played for the match

The 1600 start money was added simply to speed up the tournament. With a shortened run of 21 vs the tradition 30 rounds, I felt it was necessary to get the tournament up and going full action from the start of the event. I'd be happy to answer any further questions you may have
You mean 16k rather than $1600 I would assume, which would make a lot more sense.
