The Swap Meet / (SOLD) Alienware 51 R2 $900
« Last post by Mr.Tibbs on July 18, 2017, 05:52:23 PM »
Up for sale is an Alienware 51 R2 desktop machine. I have had this machine for almost three years and came across a deal on another machine that I could not pass up. So I am putting this up for sale as I do not need two gaming computers. Looking for $900 but I am negotiable.  Specs are as follows

Inte 5820k 3.30 GHZ
16GB DDR4 2133MHZ
Three EVGA 980GTX video cards, and SLI Bridge
Killer Networks Gigabit Lan and AC Wifi
Creative OnBoard Audio
1500W PSU
Liquid Cooler on CPU
Room for 3.5 HDD x3
Room for 2.5 SSD x2

No Hard Drives included, removed for security reasons. The 3.5HDD are the only bays that support RAID. the 2.5 SSD do not support RAID

For any members of staff I can facilitate delivery. Anyone else you would either pick up or pay to ship. This computer is quite heavy so it will probably not be cheap to ship..

Dell Service # 942WR22

Machine was a refurb that I purchased off ebay a few years ago and have added to it since then. The SLI bridge alone cost me $135, and it is purpose built for this machine. It has all the essential cables to run three graphics cards, again at my expense to get it this far.

One of the side panels does not light up. Again one of the side panels of the case does not light up. It was working a few months after I bought the unit then it stopped working. I know it is the panel as they are interchangeable, but I never got it fixed. If you have it up against a wall just use the one working panel, the broken one would need to be taken apart and some boards replaced. It is not difficult to disassemble but I just never got around to it. Also the unit is equipped with a DVD RW Drive it is an 8x I believe, just a standard laptop drive. That is fully functional.

SOLD

Free breakfast and dinner too. Crap was legit too. I slept in a different bed in the same room every night I was there.

I booked at the Aspire, its literally the same building.  The rooms at the Eisenhower weren't amazing but I honestly feel they were a upgrade to the Park Inn where we previously held events.

Rooms were new and very comfortable, I was given the Eisenhower rate without asking for it.  I saw the reviews and had the same concerns that you posted about, booked the aspire as suggested by one of the reviews.  My room had two king beds and a pull out sofa queen, split three ways it was dirt cheap.
